We have been getting numerous reports from people getting letters from their 2007 Part D drug plan, telling them that if they don’t want to keep their plan, they must send in a letter of disenrollment before November 15th.
YOU DO NOT NEED TO SEND ANY LETTER IN TO DISENROLL FROM YOUR PART D PLAN. WHEN YOU OR IF YOU DECIDE TO CHANGE YOUR PLAN AND YOU ENROLL ON ANOTHER MEDICARE PART D PLAN IN THE AEP OR ANNUAL ELECTION PERIOD, MEDICARE WILL AUTOMATICALLY CANCEL YOUR 2007 DRUG PLAN.
