Are YEARLY Cost Estimates of Part D Drug Plans Accurate?

Many people are calling us with yearly estimates of the cost of a particular Part D Plan.

My Part D USA only gives you a monthly total of co-pays and your premium. WHY?

The main thing you need to worry about is saving the most possible BEFORE you hit the “donut hole” on your premium and co-pays.

When you hit the “donut hole” you need to act like you don’t have a drug plan! WHAT?

I said, you need to act like you don’t have a drug plan.

Yes, you must continue to pay the monthly premium, because if you don’t you’ll have a penalty added to your premium the next year you join. When you hit the dreaded “donut hole” and you know you will never reach the other side to the catastrophic coverage, you MUST SHOP ANYWHERE WITHOUT USING YOUR DRUG CARD.

These yearly totals add in the retail costs that your drug plan charges for that particular drug plan. They do this to make up for their loses while you were paying co-pays.

Yearly totals are deceiving when you take into account that you won’t have to pay such high prices if you shop around and compare prices during the “donut hole”!!

At My Part D we are looking out for YOU! We will help you save the most money on your co-pays and premiums. When you reach the “donut hole” it is up to YOU to find the lowest retail prices anywhere you can find them, without using your drug plan card!

The government is saving you 75% on the first $2, 510 worth of your medication. We must make the most of this benefit until it improves.
