Begin your drug plan savings for 2008 the right way!
Please read my other blogs about saving on your medications.
These hints will keep you OUT OF THE ‘DONUT HOLE’ longer next year.
One of the best ways to do that is to buy your generics OFF YOUR DRUG PLAN.
Wal-Mart and some of the other large retailers are selling generics for $4 for a 30 day supply. If your medications are on that list, you can save money buying them without using your drug card. This will keep more money in your pot to pay for your Tier 2 and Tier 3 drugs. These are your more expensive medications.
Please read the other blogs about drug savings, so you start your year off the right way!! Saving the MOST MONEY ON YOUR MEDICATIONS!
If you have questions about any of my blogs, please call me, Karyn Blake. I will be happy to help you understand your drug plan.

Today we received this kind letter and I thought I would share it with everyone.
Dear My Part D USA,
I am so thankful that I found My Part D USA! This is the first year that I feel confident that I have made the best choice for my Medicare coverage. What a sense of relief I felt after having everything explained to me. My Senior Consultant was so knowledgeable and took the time to go over every aspect of the plan. Not to mention I am saving over $40.00 a month. I am so glad that there is a place where seniors can get the help that they need. Thank God for My Part D USA!

We would like to thank you as well, Z. Hamilton, for sending us such a wonderful letter. It makes all our hard work seem worthwhile when we hear such a story from someone we helped understand their benefits.

Please don’t wait until the last minute to get yourself enrolled on your new Medicare Part D drug plan for 2008.
If you do wait, you will not get your new card and information before the middle to late January. This could cause you problems if you need to get a prescription filled before that time.
Also, there is some confusion as to how many choices you can made during the AEP. We have had calls from people who have enrolled for 2008, THEN want to change again. Please be aware that you can make only one election for 2008.
You can understand that if you send up several choices to Medicare they would NOT know which one you want to keep. If you call us and want to cancel your 2008 enrollment that has already been submitted, you cannot do this. If you cancel your choice for 2008, you will not have a drug plan for 2008. We had a lady last week that vowed and declared that Medicare told her she could change her drug plan. She did not understand that SHE COULD CHANGE HER DRUG PLAN, BUT ONLY ONCE!!! Only ONE CHOICE in each AEP or Annual Election Period. This choice can be made each year from Nov. 15th to Dec. 31st.
We have also recieved calls from folks that claim that when they called a particular drug plan company to enroll in a Part D plan, they were sold a Medicare Advantage Plan with a built in Prescription Drug Plan. YOU MUST BE EXTRA CAREFUL WHEN YOU ARE BEING SOLD SOMETHING over the phone, THAT YOU ABSOLUTELY UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU ARE AGREEING TO ENROLL IN.
If you feel that you have been misled, you can call Medicare to help you. A Medicare Advantage Plan with a built in PDP is changing your coverage for your doctor and hospital, as well as changing your drug plan.
If you need a comparison of National Drug Plans you can go to our website to see this immediately online with easy enrollment.
